Their experience and skill means you can be sure of well equipped and well maintained boats.<br/>If you are a first time cruiser, you might like the idea of cruising on the River Wey. The route from Guildford down to Weybridge has only 10 self operating locks which means by the time you reach the River Thames area you will be feeling more confident in getting through the locks as you continue on your holiday afloat.<br/>If you don't wish to take your car, Guildford Boathouse is located less than a mile from the Railway station, where taxis are readily available.

Yes I would like to recommend this holiday as a wonderful experience whether or not you have been on a boating holiday before. The staff at the boatyard are friendly, give you a thorough boat handling briefing and are on call if you have any difficulties. The opportunity of travelling through the beautiful countryside at a leisurely pace, seeing the wildlife and farm animals at close quarters is quite an eye opener. We are looking forward very much to choosing another narrowboat holiday very soon.
